My Business Story In IMG. How I Started And Experiences.

12 years ago, I thought that I was joining a part-time job but it was more than a job and more than a business. In May 2008 changed my life when I saw the BMP presentation at our house. The next day I joined and own immediately without questions and without knowing what this thing was all about. I attended the BPM the following day, I saw a great future ahead of me. As I went home I begin sharing the concept to my parents excited but their response shocked me to the ground, they said: "it is just like the companies before that didn't work and it is just a waste of time and money".

It was a Saturday of the next week that I attended the upstart school and erased some doubts about what this company was all about. Even after attending the upstart school, doubts still keep coming into my head because most of my closest friends won’t believe about protection and investing in the future.

It took me a month to get my first member but that member didn’t last for 3 days and quit. Every time I go home all the negative things always thrown at me from my parents because I always go home late every night but even of those criticisms, I somehow manage to survive and attend meetings every night. It was an emotional rollercoaster at the time because I went to the meeting every night I felt pumped up and during the day I felt depressed because of the criticisms that thrown at me every day.

I attended my first convention in 2009 and change my view of this business platform, there were big businessmen, and top corporate guys leave their jobs and shut down their companies to do this business full-time. I saw the CEOs, presidents of IMG partnered Companies. I said to myself, "If this business is not for real, why would these top CEOs and presidents of our partners attending our Annual Convention and leave their post in their respective companies to attend this event?" After the first event I said to myself, "if I was just able to let my family and friends attend this convention, they would have changed their minds".

In my first 3 Conventions, I am all alone and felt I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of being a loser. Everyone who just joined the business become SMD (Senior Marketing Director) and left me behind and it challenged me deep inside that I am better than them, why I wouldn’t hit this goal when those people are just new and became SMD in less than 90 days. I built a team and run for SMD promotion 4 times but failed, hurting? yes, but I continued to move on. Most important thing was that I wasn’t killed with all the criticism I have been through.

It was on the 2013 Convention that I decided to fight for the last time running for SMD promotion; this time is to survive or die. I decided to do what an SMD needs to do even though I don’t have the title yet, I even ask favor with another SMD that has an existing office that I would like to share the cost for my team to use the office because I already have a handful of the team at that time. It is bad for my team without an office. They have no shelter for them to grow. Relentlessly do personal membership and personal productions and Hit 50K in commissions in 1 month not yet an SMD. By January-February 2014 was my turning point when I hit the SMD position and established solid trainers in the group.

The momentum of the team keeps going on; in a few months, I was able to build 5 new SMDs that helped me qualify to an Executive rank, EMD (Executive Marketing Director). This was the time I quit my job because I already quadrupled my income in IMG compared to the job I was in. This was the moment that my family already supported my decisions in doing this IMG business big time. The way to convince your family is by showing them results.

Right now, I already have a team across the world; I have teams in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Hong Kong and Recently New Zealand. What I have learned in the past 12 years was not about making money, it is about the WILL TO SURVIVE, the WILL TO BE A WINNER, giving up the LOSER mentality and become a BUILDER. I learned about what it takes to lead a group and accept responsibilities. It was about doing a cause that would benefit others.
