My mother called me up to listen this business because Jon already do this fulltime. Working as a Software Engineer, as I computed my salary, even I will work for 20 years, it is not enough to fund some of my life goals. Numbers won't lie. Money is also a number, I just used my logical thinking and when I saw the compensation plan of IMG, it blew my mind. I joined IMG when I was 23 years old, that was 5 years ago. The very reason why I decided to become a member of this organization is that of the need for Financial Education. It was after a year of working as an accountant that I began to realize that I have no savings at all. I’ve been sending some ‘Padala at Home’ and the only thing left in my salary is for my allowance ‘til next payday. Yes, I am living from paycheck to paycheck. Sad reality it is. That’s why I really needed the financial information that IMG is sharing and teaching. Since then, I keep on attending series of Financial Literacy classes and training. Over time, I did learn that there is more than just Financial Education that IMG is offering. It has a ‘Mission’ and a ‘Career’ that can help every Filipinos become financially independent. "The reason why I joined IMG is because working for government hospital for 23 years, instead of building up secruity and savings for my future, my debts compounds. "We joined IMG because we believe in the organization's advocacy in financial freedom. Both of us were working for 15 years already but we cant show evidences of our hard earned money all these years. We are working hard as carabaos and still don't have savings and even drown with debts. Watching our kids brought us to realization that we are not getting any younger and our kids have growing demands like school fees, clothes, food, technologies and utilities. Years fly so fast nowadays, we will never notice when kids will be in college. "I joined IMG because I want to change my family situation. My mother has been working as a "katulong" for more than half of her age. As a daughter, it's very painful to see your mom taking care other people and she doesn't even have time for her family. I belong to a profession where we usually get undercompensated. I am working in an industry who needs to be educated with the way they save money - including myself. "First of all, we can change our lives and it's not just a dream.

I am totally sad learning that people cannot earn much even though the work is 10x harder than the others. I have lived to see the true horror of how money affects our lives. I want to overcome that reality. Seeing people crying, the look of desperation, and the eyes that pierce me through the heart and soul just can't stand it anymore. I know this is hard but I believe, things that started good doesn't end well and we can all agree to that. Knowing how life treats us makes us want to surrender but lighten up. We need to start with this one. In my point of view, this organization can change the economic status of the Philippines. That's what I think it is!

"A rich country with poor people living in it." This quote never really fades in my mind. Does this sound familiar to you? I don't remember who quoted this one but I totally agree with this statement. Yes, our country's rich. We have valuable resources that we can offer to the world. We attracted peoples and offered us different opportunities to help us building our nation. I kept asking myself, how did they kept their money growing? I understand now that filipino are financially iliterate. So, I want to change it. Being financially educated can make you globally competent too. Everybody's changing their perspective about money. Money can be anything you want it to be. If you really value your living, you'll use it wisely. That's one of the things that I've learned in IMG. It encourages us to love our country even more. I find this awesome. You know, many filipinos go abroad to find better options for living. Me too, I wanted to go. "My mind is willing but the body is poor". I forgot who quoted this one but this is so powerful. We sacrifice to earn a little but still end up the same. But when I heard that IMG offer great opportunities, why not stay here. We can all see who became successful just by staying in our country only that, you needed to know their secret. The opportunity is already here. Just find the right one!

We can generate more income even though we don't work outside. We just have to continuously learn with IMG. "Patience is bitter but the fruit is sweet." According to one of the trainers, " Just trust the sytem, it will bear good result."

This can start the change in me and this will fulfill my family's dreams. I tried whatever I can to fulfill the mision as an IMG member. This is for my greatest dream of giving my family a better life especially for my mother. I want her to feel that life has not forgotten to reward her of her struggles as a solo parent. I wanted her to enjoy the life that she wanted at the beginning. This may serve as my thank you gift if ever I succeed. Ultimately, this is to officially say that i am a truly productive citizen that has applied what I've learned from everything that I heard and saw; An ordinary citizen that ciuld start an economic revolution with the help of the right organization which is IMG.
